macborja > The San Joaquin passes through Hercules, CA. The structure in the background is the remains of an abandoned dynamite factory. It has since been demolished and removed.

macborja > It's a clear day at Pinole and the hills of Marin County are visible across the bay in the background as this UP K Line stacker rolls by.

macborja > BNSF line parallel's UP's main for a short distance at Pinole. The UP line is out of view below.

macborja > Amtrak's Coast Starlight, running approximately 6 hours late, passes through Pinole around 2:30 PM. It is normally due into Oakland at 8:50 AM, but is so frequently late that it has become known as the StarLATE.

macborja > A Capitol Corridor train races toward Sacramento at Hercules, CA.
